View Ticket Detials

After selecting a Ticket, click any row to view the details of the listed item.

The screen is divided into three sections: Ticket Information, View Comment History, and Ticket Details.

Ticket Information

The Ticket Information section provides basic details. If any field has “—”, then no information was added to that field when the Ticket was created.

View Comment History

Comments can be made to the Ticket by users or Brightspeed Support Agents. By default, comment history will be shown only when there are comments added to the Ticket.

If you need to add a comment or ask a question after the Ticket has been created, this is where you can do so. Once added, your comment displays at the top of the list.

Ticket Details

To expand the Ticket Details section, click the down arrow. Information displays in three sections: Service Information, Site Contact Information, and Caller Information.

Service Information

This section displays the Service ID associated with the Ticket.

Once the Service ID was selected, Brightspeed internally retrieved the related details and added them to the Ticket. This information originates from the original sale and indicates the service address where the equipment or service is found.

Note: This is one way to verify the Ticket was issued against the correct site and service.

Site Contact Information

The Site Contact Information displays here (if provided in the Ticket), including business hours and details on intrusive testing authorization, such as whether and when it was approved, if required by the Brightspeed Service Technician.

Caller Information

Caller Information is simply the user who entered this Ticket, which could be different than the Site Contact Information.
