Long distance line charge

Brightspeed charges this fee when a residential or business customer chooses Brightspeed as their long distance carrier for calls outside their local toll calling area. The fee is applied monthly to each line on the account.

Who gets the money?

This is used by Brightspeed to recover some of the costs of offering long distance service.

Who is affected?

This charge is applied to Brightspeed residential customers with Brightspeed long distance services on a monthly basis.
