Updating your web browser

If you're having trouble getting web pages to load quickly, and struggling to get sites to do what you expect they should, your web browser could be the cause.

To solve the problem, the first step is to figure out if you're using the most current version of your preferred browser. Compare your version to the one shown on the download page for your browser:

If you see that the version on your computer is different than the one on the download page, go ahead and download the newer version of the browser. Before downloading new software to your computer, be sure you're accessing a reliable source and your files are properly backed up.
