How to make payment arrangements

We understand that it is sometimes difficult to pay your whole bill at the time it's due. In those situations, a payment arrangement may be the right option for you.

What is a payment arrangement?

Payment arrangements are scheduled payments that automatically process on the dates you select. The most common payment arrangement allows you to pay the total amount due in two installments. Both payments can be scheduled within 30 days from the date you are making the arrangement. You may choose to split the amount of the payment however you wish between the installments, as long as both payments are scheduled within the next 30 days.

Note: Not all accounts are eligible for payment arrangements. If your account is not eligible for a payment arrangement, you will be asked to pay your bill in one payment before the due date.

How to make an online payment arrangement

  1. Visit the online payment arrangement tool.

  2. Enter your account number or billing phone number. You can find your account number in the upper-right-hand corner of your bill.

  3. Enter your zip code.

  4. You will then see your total amount due. If you are eligible for a payment arrangement, you will be given 2 or 3 choices:

    1. Pay the total amount due in two installments within the next 30 days.

    2. Pay the total amount due in one installment within the next 30 days.

    3. If you have a "past due" amount, you can pay just your past-due amount on or before the date shown.

  5. Select which payment arrangement option you prefer.

  6. Enter the amounts and dates for your payments.

  7. Select whether you would like to pay via a bank account or a credit card. Note: there is a $3.50 fee per payment when paying with a credit card.

  8. Follow the payment instructions provided.

Will I be charged a fee for making payment arrangements?

Bank account - no fee
You can use a bank account to pay your bill and avoid payment fees. Be sure to have your routing number and account number handy.

Credit or debit card - fee charge
If you use a debit card or credit card to pay your bill, a $3.50 fee will be applied to each payment.

Note: If payments are scheduled after your bill due date, late fees may still apply.
